Just months after Acura rolled back the curtain on the TLX prototype at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, the production model is set to be unveiled at this year?s New York International Auto Show.
Set to replace the Acura TL, this luxury sport sedan showed off athletic styling, including a 3.8-inch decrease in height and more rigid lines, in Detroit. It is likely much of this styling will carry over to the production model.
Two engines will be made available on the 2015 TLX: a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder and a 3.5 liter V-6. Horsepower numbers haven?t yet been made available.
A new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with torque converter on the 4-cylinder, while the V-6 engine will have an available next-generation all-wheel-drive system that shaves a quarter of the weight from the outgoing system.
The 2014 New York Auto Show opens to the public on April 18.
